It has been developed as an alternative to the surgical method for this congenital deformity called Shoemaker’s chest or pectus excavatum.
How to Apply Vacuum in Shoemaker’s Chest Disease?
Application for 30 minutes at least 2 times a day is recommended. However, some patients use it for longer periods of time. It is stated that there are patients who practice while working at work or sleeping at night.
First applications should be done under the supervision of a physician. Then patients can perform the procedure on their own.
It should be administered under the supervision of an adult in children younger than 10 years.
